<p>A split sprocket assembly comprises two sprocket body members (1, 1A) having a first side defining a portion of an opening for receiving a shaft and having a second side. The split sprocket assembly further comprises four ring segments (2, 3, 4, 5) having a plurality of sprocket teeth (10) disposed along the periphery thereof . Each of the ring segments (2, 3, 4, 5) is capable of engaging with the second side of the sprocket body members (1, 1A) . The sprocket body members (1, 1A) are capable of being juxtaposed around the shaft and held together by connection of the ring segments (2, 3, 4, 5) in end-to-end fashion around the sprocket body members (1, 1A).</p> |
