<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address converter for a semiconductor device and a semiconductor memory device. <P>SOLUTION: The address converter for a semiconductor device is provided with; a clock generation part which generates at least one clock signal when a power supply voltage is applied; a control signal-setting part which sets a control signal when mode setting is operated; a polarity selection signal generation part which responds to at least one clock signal and a control signal to generate at least one polarity selection signal; and an address conversion part which converts at least one bit of an address applied from the outside in response to at least one polarity selection signal to output the converted address. Accordingly, even if an input is made to the same address in a semiconductor device, the other address is internally designated for each power source application and random mapping is made to disperse stress concentrated in a specific memory cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
