The connector has a contact body (11) designed as a socket and/or a plug, where the body (11) is centrally penetrated by a safety bolt (14). The bolt is supported with its head (17) on a rear side of the contact body to fix the body (11) to a complementary contact body of another plug-in connector. An end cap (12) including a cable bushing (13) is connected with the contact body (11) at the rear side. A wall of the end cap includes a groove-like input channel (36), through which the safety bolt is accessible by a tool such as a screw driver.
