PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately maintain a steam mixed fraction at an inlet of a high pressure secondary evaporator right before a steam separator and an overheat degree at an outlet of the high pressure secondary evaporator in a wide operation range in an exhaust heat recovery boiler. SOLUTION: The once-through exhaust heat recovery boiler includes the high pressure secondary evaporator 6 and a high pressure primary evaporator 3 arranged along a flow of exhaust gas, and the steam separator 7 arranged on the outlet of the high pressure secondary evaporator 6 in which a steam mixed flow in an outlet of the high pressure primary evaporator 3 is introduced. A bypass line 10 for bypassing a part of feed-water at the outlets of high pressure economizers 2, 1 provided on a rear flow side of the high pressure primary evaporator 3, an intermediate position of the high pressure economizer, or an inlet of the high pressure economizer to the outlet of the high pressure primary evaporator 3 to control a bypass flow rate of the bypass line 10. Therefore, steam contents at the inlet of the high pressure secondary evaporator 6 and the overheat degree at the outlet of the high pressure secondary evaporator 6 are maintained in adequate values (or are made in optimal values).
