The alarm device is for a door or window (3) fastened to a frame (1) via an intermediate gap (24). A hardened glass component (11) is involved which is granulated when force is applied. On the glass component is an electrical coil (25) coupled to an alarm circuit and which activates the circuit if it is broken by the glass component being crushed. The glass component is so fitted in the lock arrangement that on movement in a same movement direction as a load the lock arrangement is made to come into contact with a pressure point (17) in a recess (9) and the glass component is crushed.
