PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DA converter capable of performing accurate DA conversion of a multi-bit input digital signal. SOLUTION: The electron emission DA converter for converting a digital signal into an analog signal includes: a field emission device array in which a plurality of electron emitting elements for emitting electrons to vacuum space are provided side by side; an accelerating electrode facing the field emission device array through the vacuum space; a plurality of switch circuits respectively serially connected to the field emitting elements to selectively drive the electron emitting elements in accordance with the value of each bit of an inputted digital signal; and an analog outputting part for outputting an analog signal corresponding to a current amount made to flow to at least either the accelerating electrode or the electron emitting elements.
