PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire connection jig capable of safely caulking a wire connection sleeve through use of a compressor, and a wire connection method using this. SOLUTION: The wire connection jig 10 is comprised of a plate-like substrate 11 and a nearly U-shaped sleeve attaching part 12 which is installed at least at one end side of the plate-like substrate 11 so as to insert the wire connection sleeve 1 into the nearly U-shaped sleeve attaching part 12 and support the same. When used, the sleeve 1 attached to the sleeve attaching part 12 is held by positioning it at a fastening part of the compressor 4. Connection parts 3a, 3b of wires 2a, 2b to be connected to each other are inserted inside from one end or both ends of the sleeve 1, and the connection parts 3a, 3b are connected to each other by crushing the sleeve 1 by the compressor.
