PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main stand holding structure of a motorcycle improving the maintenance performance of installing or removing of a spring for holding a main stand at a standing position or a jumping position. SOLUTION: In this motorcycle, the front end of a link 13 is mounted to link supporting brackets 28 on a vehicle body frame side, an engine 31 is mounted at the rear end of the link 13 so as to be swingable, and the main stand 61 is mounted on the link 13 so as to be swingable. In the main stand 61, one end 78b of the tension coil spring 78 is mounted to hold a jumping state or a standing state, and a spring hooking member 81 for hooking the other end 78a of the tension coil spring 78 is projected to a side from an engine 31, more particularly, a front projecting part 74.
