<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone in which the attention of a driver can be prevented from being reduced by a call arrival tone or the like, while improving convenience of the cellular phone within a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A cellular phone 1 includes a function of an electronic key capable of at least either permitting locking and unlocking of the doors of a vehicle 2 or permitting the initiation of an engine. A control device 10 of the cellular phone 1 determines whether or not the mobile phone 1 is located within a car.
