<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of miniaturizing the device. <P>SOLUTION: This steering lock device 10 is constituted for holding a lock lever 60 in a releasing position by connecting a plate lock 64 sliding together with a lock bar 60 to an ignition cylinder 26 via a lock piece 72 and a second slide piece 78. Thus, since a space for sliding the plate lock 64 and a space for rocking the lock piece 72 sufficiently smaller than this plate lock 64 are only required to be secured inside a lock body 12, there is no need to secure a space for rocking a long size locking lever inside the device like a conventional steering lock device, so that the device can be miniaturized thereby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
