PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing-plate making system which can increase the accuracy of a printing position on a printing plate by reducing deflection caused by elongation when the sheet-like printing plate using a plastic substrate is mounted on the plate cylinder of a printing machine, a printing-plate making method, an image recording apparatus for the printing plate, and a printing-plate bending device. SOLUTION: In this printing-plate making system, the length L of the printing plate can be set depending on the type of the printing plate for being mounted on the printing machine, or that of the printing machine for mounting the printing plate.
