The unit (20) has a micro-optical moire magnifier arrangement with a motive image, which consists of a planar periodic or local periodic arrangement of several of micro motive units (28). A planar periodic or local periodic arrangement of several of micro lens (24) is provided for moire magnified observation of the micro motive units of the motive image. The arrangement of micro motive units and/or the arrangement of micro lens exhibit no symmetrical axis in the level of arrangement in its periodic or local periodic regions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a security unit (2) a security paper for producing a security-or valuable document (3) a data carrier, in particular a branded article, valuable document with a security unit (4) an application of the security unit for a security paper or a data carrier for falsification security of goods. |
