PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a projector even in narrow viewing space and to obtain comfortable viewing environment by preventing inconvenience that noise or hot air made by a light source device makes the viewing environment in the viewing space undesirable in advance. SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes: the light source device 2 for generating illuminating light L; a projector head 3 for superposing a video signal on the illuminating light L emitted by the light source device 2 and projecting it; and an optical fiber 4 for connecting the light source device 2 and the projector head 3 and supplying the illuminating light L emitted from the light source device 2 to the projector head 3. The projector head 3 includes: a display element 10 for superposing the video signal on the illuminating light L emitted from the light source device 2; and a projection lens 11 for projecting the illuminating light L on which the video signal is superposed by the display element 10.
