PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation auxiliary capable of reducing operation force of a piston type manual pump and facilitate work of pumping urea water solution or the like out of a storage vessel with a low cost manual pump. SOLUTION: The operation auxiliary 10 for the piston type manual pump 1 is attached by screwing a screw fitting member 4 on a mouth part of the storage vessel D and pumps out liquid by reciprocating operation of a piston rod 5. The operation auxiliary includes a support plate 11 having an opening part for screwing the mouth part of the storage vessel D and a screw fitting member 4 and fixed by screwing the screw fitting member 4 on the mouth part through the opening part, a column 12 erectly provided on the support plate 11, and a rocking arm 13 including a fulcrum part 13a pivotally supported by the column 12, a power point part 13b having power applied thereon and an action point 13c therebetween, and can reciprocatingly operates the piston rod 5 by griping the power point 13b of the rocking arm 13 having the piston rod 5 connected thereon at the action point 13c and rocking the same.
