PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of cleaning according to the condition of an environment and a cleaning system with the same. SOLUTION: A self traveling cleaner is constituted of a first detachable cleaner body 1 and a second detachable cleaner body 2. The first cleaner body 1 includes a traveling device, a suction port 5, a first dust collecting chamber 6, a rotary brush 7, a brush drive device 8, a distance sensor 9, and a main control section 10. The second cleaner body includes an electric blower 31, a second dust collecting chamber 32, a distance sensor 33, a sub control section 34, and an auxiliary battery 35. Cleaning is carried out while detaching the second cleaner body 2 from the first cleaner body 1 when cleaning silently and cleaning is carried out attaching the second cleaner body 2 to the first cleaner body 1 when cleaning while enhancing dust collecting capacity.
