<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-conductive polymer composite body carried with a precious metal based catalyst in which a utilization efficiency of the catalyst is enhanced and reduction of a catalytic activity with age by diffusion or the like of a catalyst fine particle is hardly generated, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The electro-conductive polymer composite body carried with the precious metal based catalyst contains a carbon powder, the precious metal based catalyst and the electro-conductive polymer, and the carbon powder is coated with the electro-conductive polymer in which the precious metal catalyst is uniformly dispersed/supported. Further, in the manufacturing method for the electro-conductive polymer composite body carried with the precious metal based catalyst of the present invention, the carbon powder is oxidized and after the carbon powder is immersed in a solution containing a precious metal based complex cation as dissolved species, it is dried to obtain the carbon powder carried with the precious metal based complex. A polymerization reaction of the electro-conductive polymer in a material monomer solution of the electro-conductive polymer making the precious metal complex as an oxidizing agent while using the carbon powder and the carbon powder is simultaneously carried with the electro-conductive polymer and the precious metal based catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
