PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact plastic bottle shredder having a mechanism easily breaking up a plastic bottle. SOLUTION: The mechanism cuts the plastic bottle into strips by a function of a pair of small-diameter rotary blades having plastic bottle rolling vanes interlocked and breaks up the bottle 1 by the shredding rotary blade 10 rotating to cut the strips into chips. A strong bottom of the bottle is torn open and a head is cut off. The plastic bottle shredder includes a mechanism which interlocks with movement of a plastic bottle moving container to tear open the bottom by the movement of a tearing blade and cut off the head by a cutting edge. When inserted into this mechanism, the plastic bottle is broken up by small power as the strong bottom loses its strength and the hard head does not exist. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
