<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data reproducing method and a device in which recorded digital data can be reproduced accurately when binary digital data is recorded as Fourier transform hologram. <P>SOLUTION: Reference light for reading is projected to an optical recording medium, reverse Fourier transform of diffraction light by recorded hologram is detected and a first reproduced picture is obtained. Synthesized light is generated by synthesizing the diffraction light and a DC component of a Fourier transform image of a signal light, the reverse Fourier transform image of the synthesized light is detected and a second reproduced picture is obtained. Difference between luminance of the second reproduced picture and luminance of the first reproduced picture is calculated for each same pixel, a code of each pixel is discriminated depending on positive or negative calculated difference, and it is converted to binary digital data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
