<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print according to desirable printing conditions matching a print request even without a user's operation. <P>SOLUTION: A printing control device comprises a printer driver 15 for causing a printer to execute printing according to preset printing conditions and a print request generated by a given application, and a registry 12 for storing a plurality of different printing conditions. The plurality of printing conditions stored in the registry 12 are each associated with identification information on printing paper. The printer driver 15 specifies the printing conditions that are associated with the same identification information as the printing paper related to the print request from the plurality of printing conditions stored in the registry 12, and changes the preset printing conditions according to the specified printing conditions, before causing the printer 3 to execute printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
