PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission characteristic of a transmission signal. SOLUTION: This transmitter 7 has a substrate 8, a semiconductor circuit 9 arranged on the substrate 8 to generate a transmission signal, an amplifier 11 arranged on the substrate 8 and connected to an output side of the semiconductor circuit 9, a transmission line 12 arranged along a side of the substrate 8 and connected to an output side of the amplifier 11, and an antenna terminal 13 arranged on the substrate 8 and connected to an output side of the transmission line 12. Since the transmission signal amplified by the amplifier 11 is caused to pass through a peripheral edge part of the substrate 8 due to the above configuration, the transmission signal can be prevented from being mixed with other circuit blocks to be able to improve a transmission characteristic of the transmitter 7.
