PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform high speed read access. SOLUTION: A filter driver 55 collects an access pattern 61 showing the content of a series of read access to an HDD 121 to be generated during the boot of an operating system. Also, the filter driver 55 perform the look-ahead of data as the object of read access in the case of the next boot of the operating system from the HDD 121, and loads the data in a look-ahead buffer 63 on a memory based on the access pattern 61, and when the data requested by the read access exist in the look-ahead buffer 63, the filter driver 55 transmits the pertinent data to the operating system.
