PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device direction change mechanism capable of rotation-operating optionally a direction change shuttle means at a steady-state position without moving it to a rotation position, and capable of eliminating conveyance jamming of a device caused by a rail-to-rail space. SOLUTION: This device direction change mechanism provided with the direction change shuttle means for taking the inspection objective device dropping by a dead weight along an upstream chute into a shuttle chute, for changing a direction of the taken-in device when necessary, and for transferring the device to a downstream chute having a measuring part, is provided with a shuttle chute moving means for moving the shuttle chute to bring an inlet of the shuttle chute into close contact with an outlet of the upstream chute and to bring an outlet of the shuttle chute in to close contact with an inlet of the downstream chute.
