摘要 A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to compensate brightness correctly by making characteristics similar to electro luminescent elements in a pixel unit and a monitor element by arranging a monitor element in an adjacent region to the pixel unit. A display device includes a light blocking layer(121), an insulation layer, a first light emitting element(123), an aperture unit, a second light emitting element, and a pixel unit(122). The insulation layer is formed on the light blocking layer(121). The first light emitting element(123) is formed on the insulation layer. The aperture unit is formed on a part of the insulation layer. The aperture unit is overlapped with the light blocking layer(121). The second light emitting element is formed inside the aperture unit. The first light emitting element is formed on the pixel unit(122). The second light emitting element is formed on a monitor element unit. The second light emitting element has a first electrode, a light emitting layer, and a second electrode. The first electrode is formed on a bottom plane of the aperture unit. The light emitting layer is formed on the first electrode. The second electrode is formed on the light emitting layer.
