PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interrupt unauthorized access to a telecontrol device by a third party. SOLUTION: The telecontrol device has a telephone master unit 3 which is connected to a telephone line 2 and an intercom master unit 5 having a telecontrol function which is connected to the telephone master unit to control a household appliance 7. The telephone master unit has a caller number detection part 31C which detects a caller number of an out-of-house telephone 6 regarding incoming of outside line, a PB signal detection part 31B which detects a PB signal as a password input number and a control part 40 at the telephone master unit side, which judges whether or not the caller number matches to a stored caller number for telecontrol authentication and when it is judged that the caller number does not match to the caller number of telecontrol authentication, notifies the intercom master unit about the inhibition of the telecontrol function.
