<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an NdFeB-based sintered magnet capable of using a mold in a number of times without damaging the mold. <P>SOLUTION: The alloy powder of the NdFeB-based sintered magnet, where the center value of a grain size measured by a laser method is 3 μm or smaller, is used. Oxygen content contained in the alloy powder is set to 2,000 ppm or smaller. The mold is filled with the alloy powder for orientating a magnetic field before sintering at 900-1,000°C or lower. As a result, the alloy powder can be sintered at lower temperature than before, and the damage of the mold is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
