PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and readily producing fine organic macromolecular polymer particles the easy production of which is difficult by a usual means such as pulverization. SOLUTION: The fine particles the production of which is difficult by the usual pulverization can be obtained regardless of short-time pulverization by freezing a hydrous molded article obtained by introducing a solution of an organic macromolecular polymer into a water-based coagulating liquid, and in a state of a water content within a specific range without drying the molded article by liquid nitrogen or the like, and pulverizing the frozen product.
