<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a flicker generated during imaging by a video camera under a fluorescent lamp. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus using an XY address scanning type imaging element which performs imaging in cycles 1/2n (n: a natural number) as long as cycles of light quantity variation of lighting, an integration processing section 102 integrates pixel values of pixels in each area obtained by dividing an image into a plurality of images, an integral value holding section 103 holds the integral value. An integral value arithmetic section 111 computes the waveform of a difference value between integral values of corresponding areas of two images having a flicker phase difference of 180°. A phase amplitude extraction section 112 extracts the phase and amplitude of the flicker on the basis of the waveform of the difference value between the integral values. A function selection section 114 selects the waveform of the flicker from a shutter speed of the imaging apparatus. A flicker correction value generation section 113 corrects pixel values of pixels with a correction value based upon the selected flicker waveform and the extracted phase and amplitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
