<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection sensor which can measure an object position with a sufficient accuracy over a predetermined monitoring region from the vicinity just under the sensor to a long distance. <P>SOLUTION: The monitoring region is partitioned into a plurality of monitoring compartments 11, 12 and 13 according to a distance from the object detection sensor 2, and a plurality of antennas 3, 4 and 5 which make each compartment detection extent are switched and used. The beam width of the depression angle direction of each of the antennas 3, 4 and 5 is reduced in the antenna for monitoring a far side from the installation position of the object detection sensor 2. The position in the object supervision face is measured in the region including the vicinity just under the installed object detection sensor 2 by comparing the outgoing information and the electric wave irradiation course of a radio wave radar with each other in a signal processing circuit 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
