PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent an ink effluence or air mixing in a cartridge-unloaded state while lessening the components of an ink feeder. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 10 is equipped with a valve 31 capable of opening and closing an ink outlet hole 29 and an elastic member 37 for energizing the valve 31 in the direction of closing the ink outlet hole 29. A holder 11 is equipped with an ink feeding tube 40, a valve 44 capable of opening and closing an ink feeding passage 42 which communicates with the ink feeding tube 40 and a spring 47 for energizing the valve 44 in the direction of closing the ink feeding passage 42. When loading the ink cartridge 10, a projection part 33 of the valve 31 approaches into the ink feeding tube 40 inserted into an ink inlet hole 29 and impresses the valve 44 to the direction of opening the ink feeding passage 42, and then the ink feeding tube 40 impresses an impressed part 36 of the valve 31 to the direction of opening the ink outlet hole 29.
