PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for treating a fish body and method for the same, capable of treating the fish body in a high efficiency and high yield even for demands in small scale fish body treatments in a small scale retail shop and in a general household, and also for small-sized fishes. SOLUTION: This device for treating the fish body is provided by forming a first separating member 6 in which a first cutting blade 4 is formed on a base stand 2 along with the transferring passage 3 of its moving direction A over a first region W1 and also a first insertion part 5 to be inserted into a boundary part F3 of the fish body F is formed at the downstream side of the transferring direction A from the first cutting blade 4 as extending linearly over a second region W2, and a second separating member 9 in which a second cutting blade 7 as opposing to the first cutting blade 4 of the first separating member 6 is formed over a third region W3, and also a second insertion part 8 to be inserted into the boundary part F3 of the fish body F as opposing to the first insertion part 5 is formed at the downstream side of the transferring direction A from the second cutting blade 7 as extending linearly over a fourth region W4.
