PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication circuit which executes communication by using busy control and can reduce time required for communication processing while decreasing a load on communication processing, and an image-forming device using the communication circuit. SOLUTION: The communication circuit is provided with; a response checking processing part 531 which checks whether a ready signal from another communication circuit is received at a first set time interval after a request signal is outputted to another communication circuit; a communication execution control part 534 which executes the transmission and reception of data to another communication circuit when the reception of the ready signal is acknowledged; a number-of-failure counting part 532 which counts the number of times the reception of the busy signal from another communication circuit is confirmed by the response confirmation processing part 531; and a set-time alteration processing part 535 which increases the first set time when a counted value given by the number-of-failure counting part 532 is over the preliminarily set first setting number while it decreases the first set time when the counted value is below the second setting number which is equal to the number of the first settings or smaller.
