<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a color filter which permits high-quality display hardly causing irregularity in the hue, etc. of each of formed colored layers and hardly causing color irregularity, by using an inkjet method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing color filter has an inspection adjustment process comprising: a chromaticity inspection process of measuring chromaticity of a colored layer forming coating liquid applied on colored layer formation areas for forming a colored layer by spectrophotometry and, thereby, specifying a defective colored layer formation area; and a chromaticity adjustment process of specifying a defective inkjet nozzle from among the inkjet nozzles which applies the colored layer forming coating liquid to the defective colored layer formation area and adjusting a setting condition of the defective inkjet nozzle by using a calibration line which linearly approximates the relation between the chromaticity and the amount of the colored layer forming coating liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
