PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user at calling from phoning a partner without noticing that there is a recording data at absence in a telephone answering server. SOLUTION: A mobile telephone apparatus determines a presence of a reception at absence from a calling partner upon calling and displays it if it is present. When the user selects a continuation, the presence of the recording data at absence addressed to self from the calling partner is asked to the answer-phone server (Step S7-2 to Step S7-3). The answering server verifies a calling partner phone number and a sender phone number which have been transmitted with a database of a self apparatus (Step S7-3) and notices the "presence" to the mobile telephone apparatus (Step S7-4) if there is one verification with it. When the user inputs a reproduction indication, the mobile telephone apparatus receives the recording data at absence from the answering server (Step S7-5).
