PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiseismic wall, for a use in a skeleton of steel construction, without impairing its aesthetic appearance of the skeleton while there is no need of reinforcing the skeleton because of its over-heavy weight. SOLUTION: The antiseismic wall 1 is composed in such a way that a wall-plate 2 is installed in a portion surrounded by a column 26 and a beam 27 of a skeleton 25. The wall-plate 2 is formed in a square-sheet with a plurality of plastic blocks 3 piled up while adjacent blocks 3, 3 are joined to each other. At least three sides of the wall-plate 2 are contacted relatively slidable with the column 26 and the beam 27 of the skeleton 25. A sliding member 24 is interposed between at least three sides of the wall-plate 2 and the column 26 as well as the beam 27 of the skeleton 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
