PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical agitator firstly equipped with a bearing part capable of surely discharging the injected grease to the outside of a grease discharge hole, and also easily recovering the discharged grease. SOLUTION: This vertical agitator is provided with: the bearing part having a grease injection hole 25 injecting grease into a bearing 20 set at the bearing part; a grease discharge hole 27 discharging grease inside the bearing 20; a grease discharge belt 28 for discharging the grease in the grease discharge hole 27 in the grease discharge hole 27; and a drive means 30 for driving the grease discharge belt 28. The drive means 30 is preferably provided with a grease recovering means 34 for recovering the discharged grease from the grease discharge hole 27 by the grease discharge belt 28.
