A plasma display panel is provided to enhance luminance and luminous efficiency of the panel by increasing emissions of electron through a dielectric layer comprising ferroelectric material. Discharge electrodes are disposed on a substrate, and dielectric layers(114,115) are disposed to form at least a portion of the discharge electrodes. The dielectric layers are made of ferroelectric material. The dielectric layers are formed in a dot pattern or stripe pattern so that an opening portion and a shielding portion are alternatively formed. A protective layer(116) is formed on the dielectric layers. |
