PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably dispense a banknote without damage even when frictional force between a conveyor belt and the banknote is small to prevent the banknote from remaining inside a depositing money rejection part, in a medium processor having a money depositing/dispensing rejection mechanism recognizing the banknote and rejecting and returning the banknote not recognized. SOLUTION: In this banknote depositing/dispensing machine, one side of a conveying belt of the depositing money rejection part is formed with a protrusion part, and rejection banknotes accumulated in the depositing money rejection part are taken out by the protrusion part. The banknote depositing/dispensing machine is provided with an area wherein a protrusion tip track and a conveyance upstream side casing of the money rejection part overlap, and an area wherein a protrusion tip track and a downstream side end part extension of a conveyance guide overlap.
