This invention relates to a washing machine (1) wherein the unbalanced load within the drum is balanced by using a balancing unit (5) which is filled and emptied using a fluid. The filling and draining holes (7 and 9) in the balancing unit (5) are opened and closed in coordinated way so as to prevent unintended leakages of the injected fluid inside and provide the fluid exit by only means of the draining holes (9).
