An apparatus for tensioning an steam hose for the apparatus for repairing an underground pipe includes a cable(110), a first tensioning support member, and a second tensioning support member. The cable is disposed in the steam hose lengthwise. The first tensioning support member supports the other end of the cable. The second tensioning supporting support member supports one end of the cable.
