A flux composition for aluminium brazing and a method for preparing the same are provided to minimize the generation of dust when brazing aluminum air conditioners, and reduce preparation cost by omitting drying and crushing processes in the flux preparing process. A wet type flux composition for aluminium brazing is prepared by performing the neutralization reaction of potassium hydroxide(KOH) or potassium carbonate(K2CO3) with an acidic solution of hydrofluoric acid(HF) and aluminum hydroxide[Al(OH)3] such that the flux composition satisfies a mole ratio of K:Al:F=1 to 1.5:1:4 to 4.5, and has a water content of 5 to 70% to minimize the generation of dust. The composition has an average particle size of 3 to 30 mum. A preparation method of a flux composition for aluminium brazing comprises the steps of: preparing a product by performing the neutralization reaction of potassium hydroxide(KOH) or potassium carbonate(K2CO3) with an acidic solution of hydrofluoric acid(HF) and aluminum hydroxide[Al(OH)3] such that the product satisfies a mole ratio of K:Al:F=1 to 1.5:1:4 to 4.5; dewatering the product to separate solid and liquid from the product; packing a finished product obtained by crushing the separated slid, wherein the crushed finished product has a water content of 5 to 70%.
