A wind powered generation platform (10) for remote placement of wind generation systems in a body of water. The platform includes a base portion (14), a control portion (24), a stabilizing portion (38), a power generation portion (30, 32) and a power link portion (36). Management of the platform is automated and independent and platforms may be organized in aquatic wind farms without the necessity of providing manpower to supervise the operations. Another embodiment provides for the generation of hydrogen in remote locations that may be harvested on a periodic basis. |
