A friend comment ring service method in a mobile communication network and a system thereof are provided to record/set an introductory comment of another user in front of a ring back tone, and to select whether to activate the comment, thereby offering a friend comment ring service to a sending mobile communication terminal. A friend comment ring service is registered(S201-S207). When a random mobile communication terminal is connected to a registered mobile communication terminal through a call, a friend comment for the registered terminal is recorded and stored(S209,S211). If a call connection request is received from a sending mobile communication terminal, a ring back tone added with the friend comment for the registered terminal is extracted to provide a friend comment ring service to the sending terminal(S213-S221).
