FIELD: construction, particularly floor structures formed of battens and provided with mechanical locking system. ^ SUBSTANCE: mechanical locking system comprises locking strip to be separately processed and fastened to flooring batten. The locking strip is adapted to be connected to flooring batten by snap connection and/or strip installation at an angle. The locking strip connects the first batten to similar one by at least installation thereof at an angle.
