The proposed stand for testing gears contains a connecting coupling designed for connecting the output shaft of the gear with the shaft of the loading device and a connecting coupling designed for connecting the input shaft of the fear with the shaft of the drive of the gear. The coupling on the side of the loading device contains two half-couplings, each of which is installed on the splines of the corresponding shaft. Along the circumference of one of the half-couplings, two symmetrical guide slots are made, along which the half-coupling lock can move. The second half-coupling contains two ratchet-wheels with oppositely directed teeth. The teeth of the half-coupling lock can be engaged with the teeth of one or other ratchet-wheel. The coupling on the side of the drive contains two half-couplings with triangular teeth. Each half-coupling is installed on the splines of the corresponding shaft.
