An icebox is provided to prevent damage of stored articles due to freezing by restricting a direct contact between a coolant and the stored article by a barrier member dividing a space. The icebox is composed of a box body(10) comprising a bottom plate(12) and a wall body(14) integrally installed from the edge of the bottom plate in a vertical direction; a lid(20) detachably installed to cover the upper end of the wall of the box body in order to isolate the inside of the box body from the outside; and a barrier member(40) integrally or detachably installed to divide the inside of the box into plural spaces. The barrier member is unevenly formed by arranging concave grooves(42a) and convex surfaces(42b) in order.
