Provided is an anisotropic conductive film capable of preventing the overflow of an anisotropic conductive adhesive layer in compression processing by increasing the area of a releasing film more than that of an anisotropic conductive adhesive layer. The anisotropic conductive film comprises: an anisotropic conductive adhesive layer having first and second thickness and surface; and a first releasing film which is adhered to the first surface, wherein the area ratio (X) of the first releasing film and the anisotropic conductive adhesive layer is 1.0-1.2, and the melt viscosity (Y) of the anisotropic conductive adhesive layer satisfies the relation represented by Y >= -500X + 850 at a certain compression temperature. Preferably the certain compression temperature is 80 deg.C.
