The present invention is manufactured for augmenting the productivity and reducing the cost of the harvesting of olives. This can be obtained by beating the cut-out olive tree branches and removing the olive fruit therefrom via two rotating cylinders 5 and elastic vanes 6 incorporated thereon. The vat 3 receives olives dislodged by the foregoing vanes as well as those remaining on the olive-harvesting canvas after stopping -with mere movement- of the cylinders. Then, olive fruit are conducted from said vat to a special opening in order to be automatically sacked into bags. A petrol engine sets into operation all parts of the device via adequate pulleys and belts. Compared with ordinary olive harvesting devices, the disclosed herein device offers double productivity gains. |
