FIELD: metallurgy; off-furnace treatment of steel. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heating and blowing the metal melt in ladle at upper and lower levels. Melt is heated by jet of plasma-forming gas. Top blowing is carried out at the slag-metal interface. After top blowing, alloying additives are introduced. Bottom blowing is carried out in reversing the gas jet from 0.5 to 0.9 of height of metal in ladle at introducing the alloying additives.
