A band saw machine is provided to simplify the structure of the band saw machine by providing a planetary reduction gear to a drive belt pulley. A band saw machine includes a pair of belt pulleys, a drive motor(20), a band saw(30), a transfer lathe(40), and a manipulation section(100). The belt pulleys includes a drive pulley and a driven pulley. The drive motor is connected to the drive belt pulley. The band saw is connected to the pair of belt pulleys to travel in an orbit. The transfer lathe includes a vise fixing a work material. The manipulation is adapted to control the belt pulleys, the drive motor, the band saw, and the lathe. The manipulation section includes a touch screen section(110), a remote control section(120), and a planetary reduction gear.
