A plasma display panel is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost for driving scan electrodes by reducing the number of scan electrodes. A first and a second substrates(10,30) are opposite to each other. A plurality of discharge cells(18) are formed in a space between the first and the second substrates. A plurality of address electrodes(15) are formed in a first direction between the first and the second substrates. A plurality of display electrodes(35) are separated from the address electrodes between the first and the second substrates and are formed in a second direction crossing the first direction. Centers of the discharge cells are disposed in a triangular shape. One of three sides of the triangular shape is disposed in parallel to the second direction.
